5. HI-TECH ELECTRONIC BALLASTS

Unlike conventional ballasts which alternate at 60 cycles per second, our electronic ballast operates at over 20,000 cycles per second. This ultra-high frequency increases the lamp efficacy by 10-15% and completely eliminates hum and flicker whilst wasting less power internally. There are no starters or chokes to change and all ballasts are individually fused with sockets and plugs at each end making them easy to change and completely modular for showcase layout changes without the need for an electrician.

6. TRIPHOSPHOUR FLOURESCENT LIGHTING

It's easier to see what a difference they make than it is to say... all of our flourescent tubes utilise 'triphosphour' compound which produces more light per watt of consumed electricity than the dual-phosphour coatings used in regular flourescent tubes. They also have a very good Colour Rendering Index (CRI), which is a measure of how natural colours will appear under the light. A perfect score of 100 indicates an equivalent to 'high noon' sunlight. Triphosphour daylight tubes typically have a CRI of better than 90.
